Celestion regard it as a 'more powerful Greenback' and that is the perfect description. Expect that classic, 'woody' tone and feel to add colour to your medium gain sounds, with a little speaker breakup to boot… albeit with a full 65 watts power handling which is 40 more than the standard Greenback. Compared with the 75-watt Creamback, the 65 is less sensitive\/efficient so sounds less loud at equivalent amp volume settings. It has more colour to the tone overall, a looser bottom end and breaks up earlier.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eWe recommend it for anyone who likes classic low\/medium gain tones at low\/medium volume; or who likes plenty of speaker 'give' and colour at higher volumes.
